You may request access to, correction, deletion or release of your personal data where the legal requirements are met. Contact us at the address in the legal notice. In Switzerland, you may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
In addition, under certain circumstances you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Details can be found in the privacy policy under “Right to restriction of processing”.

External hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider. In particular, the IP address, time, requested address, referrer and browser and device information are processed. Contact enquiries are processed through the services described below.
The host is used for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of a secure, fast and efficient provision of our online services by a professional provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The host processes this data to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website. Data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed for these purposes or legal obligations. The specific period depends on the type and security relevance of each log.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the browser address bar changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

4. Data collection on this website
Cookies and local storage
For your manual language choice, we set the necessary nf_lang cookie for no more than twelve months. Your Google Analytics choice is kept in your browser’s local storage for no more than 180 days. Calendly only loads after your click on each page visit. Previously stored Calendly consent is removed. You can delete these settings through your browser. Google Analytics sets analytics cookies only after your consent.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics is used on this website with strict opt-in. Before you make a choice, the Google tag is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. Audience measurement starts only after you select “Allow analytics”.
Google Analytics records page views, the referring page, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions with the website. When the contact form is submitted successfully or a Calendly booking is completed, we send only the “generate_lead” event and the contact method used. Names, email addresses, telephone numbers, messages and Calendly form data are not sent to Google Analytics.
After your consent, Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_<Container-ID> cookies. We limit their lifetime to no more than 13 months and prevent automatic renewal. Google uses the IP address during collection to derive an approximate region; according to Google, IP addresses of people in Switzerland are not logged or stored. Google signals and personalised advertising are disabled in our implementation.
Google may also process analytics data through Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC states that it is certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. Processing is based on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the applicable provisions of the Swiss Data Protection Act. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. When consent is withdrawn, Google Analytics cookies accessible on this domain are deleted and further collection is stopped. The choice itself is stored locally in your browser for no more than 180 days.
Further information: Google Privacy Policy and Data privacy and security in Google Analytics.
Server log files
The provider automatically collects information in server log files transmitted by your browser. This includes:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Time of the server request
- IP address
We do not combine this data with other data sources. Processing serves the secure and technically reliable provision of the website. Where the GDPR applies, it is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Retention follows the criteria described under “External hosting”.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, we process your name, email address, telephone number, preferred contact time, the administrative reason for your enquiry and, if you use the optional message field, the text entered there. Do not submit diagnoses, treatment details, X-rays, medical records or other health information.
Your consent covers transmission of this administrative contact data through Resend in the USA and delivery by email to the responsible team at Bodensee Implantat Zentrum. The web transmission is protected by TLS. Subsequent email communication is not end-to-end encrypted. After initial contact, we will arrange an appropriate secure channel for medical records.
Processing is based on your explicit consent and is necessary to handle your enquiry. Where the GDPR applies, Art. 6(1)(a) and, for pre-contractual enquiries, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR apply. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect. You may alternatively contact us by telephone.
We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA) as a processor for technical delivery. Resend processes sender and recipient addresses, message content and technical delivery data. Resend states that email and log data for active standard accounts is retained for 30 days and backups for seven days. After termination, remaining customer data is deleted within 90 days unless a legal obligation requires otherwise. Resend relies on EU standard contractual clauses adapted for transfers from Switzerland. Further information: Resend Data Processing Addendum and Resend privacy information.
The enquiry is delivered to a BIZ mailbox in Microsoft 365. Microsoft processes email addresses, message content and technical delivery data as a processor. Retention follows the mailbox settings and legal documentation and retention duties; messages that are no longer needed are deleted. For international transfers, Microsoft provides for the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Further information: Microsoft Data Protection Addendum.
BIZ retains the enquiry only for as long as needed to process it, answer follow-up questions and meet legal documentation or retention obligations. The form is not automatically forwarded to Auris Dental.
Enquiries by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process your enquiry and the resulting personal data to handle your request.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as we have a legitimate interest in effectively handling the enquiries addressed to us.
We retain the data you provide until the purpose of the enquiry ends or you validly request deletion. Legal documentation and retention obligations remain unaffected. Email is not end-to-end encrypted; send medical records only through a secure channel agreed with us in advance.
5. Plugins and tools
Online booking with Calendly
To book initial consultations, we use Calendly, a service of Calendly LLC based in the USA. The booking tool only loads once you click “Show Calendly appointments”. Calendly then processes information including your IP address and browser and device details and may set cookies. When you book, Calendly also processes your name, email address and preferred time.
Do not enter diagnoses, treatment details or medical records in Calendly. Calendly loads only with your explicit consent. You can close a loaded booking tool and withdraw consent for this page visit through “Cookie settings” and “Necessary only”. You can contact us by telephone without using Calendly. Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) and, for a booking, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Calendly retains booking data for as long as reasonably needed for the booking, contractual and legal obligations and possible claims; processor data is deleted on our instruction or account termination unless the law requires retention. Calendly is certified under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. Its Data Processing Addendum provides standard contractual clauses if that mechanism does not apply. Further information: Calendly Privacy Notice and Calendly Data Processing Addendum.
6. Cooperation with Auris Dental
The contact form is not automatically forwarded to Auris Dental. For a Calendly booking, the organiser named in the booking window receives the booking data; depending on the selected appointment, this may be BIZ or Auris Dental in Kosovo. Booking starts only after your explicit consent and must not contain health information. If Auris Dental later becomes involved in an assessment or treatment plan, we will inform you before transferring health information about the purpose, data scope, recipient and secure transmission method. Such information is transferred only with your explicit consent unless another legal basis applies.
7. Processing abroad
Netlify, Google, Resend, Microsoft and Calendly may process personal data primarily in the USA. Netlify, Google, Microsoft and Calendly state that they participate in the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. Resend uses EU standard contractual clauses adapted for transfers from Switzerland. Providers may use further subprocessors; their locations and safeguards are described in the linked privacy and contractual documents. Any later transfer to Auris Dental in Kosovo is governed by the preceding section.
8. Version of this privacy policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026. We update this policy when services or processing activities change.
